Since qualifying at Guy's Hospital in 1988, Andrew has gained over twenty years of general practice experience. He has a post-graduate qualification in general practice dentistry and is a member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners. In addition to his practice duties, Andrew is also an approved Dental Trainer and guides new graduates through their first year of practice.
Andrew is an elected representative for local dentists on the Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark Local Dental Committee.

Helen also qualified at Guy's Hospital in 1988 and joined forces with Andrew in 1993 to open Lewisham Dental Practice. She was the driving force behind the practice's BDA Good Practice Award. Helen is also the MD of Radiance UnLimited, the company which provides all the Facial Rejuvenation treatments at the practice www.radianceunlimited.co.uk. |
dr saira akhtar Associate

Dr Akhtar qualified with distinction honours from Guy's Dental Hospital in 2006 and obtained her postgraduate qualification in general practice with the Royal College of Surgeons in 2008. She is a full-time practitioner and has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry. She is certified in the use of invisible braces and facial rejuvenation. She is also committed to attending postgraduate education courses. |
sarah burton Practice Manager
Sarah is our recently promoted practice manager and has been a valued team member at LDP since October 2003. Recently completing NVQ level 2 in Customer Service and also an NVQ level 2 in team leading, Sarah is now training towards an NVQ level 3 in management. dr ali hilmi

Dr Hilmi graduated with Merit from The Guy’s, King’s, and St Thomas’ Dental Institute in 2008. In addition, He has a degree in Neuroscience from King’s College London (University of London), and is currently preparing for the MJDF post-graduate dental qualification. Dr Hilmi has a keen interest in prosthodontics, and is focused on continual professional development through post-graduate education. |

Cheryl earned her Diploma in Dental Hygiene at King's College Hospital in 2005 and has recently acheived an NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service.

With over 17 years of experience in management, Sarah is a hands-on problem solver with a passion for excellent customer service. She is especially interested in the development of teams and systems to ensure excellent performance. Sarah is currently studying towards a masters degree in business administation and is using her newly acquired knowledge to help develop the practice. |

Dr Dickinson qualified from Guy's hospital in 1982. He has worked in general dental practice for 26 years, mainly in South London. He specialises in providing gentle general dental care.

Dr Rikesh Patel

Dr Patel is the latest edition to our team. He graduated with distinction from The Guy's King's and St Thomas' Dental Institute in 2009. He achieved runner up to the prestigious University of London Gold Medal award for clinical excellence. Dr Patel's interests lie in restorative and Endodontic dentistry. With a keen commitment to post graduate education, Dr Patel is currently preparing for the MJDF qualification.
